I think my Nespresso is melting?

Has anyone noticed this? When I came to make coffee this morning, I noticed some black stalagmites around the pod holder rim. When I took them off, they were cold, melty/soft. Looking up inside the lid, I see some bulges around the spinny thing…

Anyone have any idea what the heck this is?
