I do like one on occasion, but it’s gotta be on the absolute softest white bread (or extremely soft wheat bread) for me. Having it on a firmer bread makes it all squishy out

Love them and tons of different ways to take it to improve on just the standard egg+mayo.
I’m a fan of a curried one. Add some curry powder, chopped onion and chilli, bit of mango chutney, maybe some sliced almonds for more texture.
The egg salad scene in Big Top Pee Wee messed me up as a kid.

It’s my preferred way to eat all the flavors of a deviled egg without the required dexterity of making them pretty. No lettuce on mine tho. Just mix with mayo, yellow mustard, sweet relish, paprika, salt, pepper.

I love deviled eggs. I love fried egg sandwiches. I love chicken and tuna salad. By all accounts I should love egg salad sandwiches and yet…ugh
