I like it, but why? It's the juiciest onion I've ever cut.

And that’s how onion babies are made

  2. MomentumMagic

I’ve found this to be the case with older onions sometimes.

I crosshatch the face of the onlon with shallow knife cuts and scrape it to get onion juices, I prefer it to chopped onions in guacamole and a few other things.

    This one’s juicy!

If the onion felt a bit soft when you squeeze it then it might be a bit old but will still taste good

Milk…sure! So that’s what you call it!

  6. to me that usually means it’ll be a tasty onion.

It means your knife is dull and you’re rupturing a bunch of cell walls, making your onion cry.

And? What are you waiting for? Stop your blabbering about onion milk and get to work.

Time to make some onion butter or onion cheese.

Either you are part of the problem or part of the solution.

    It’s just onion stuff.

Slice it up and be on with your day.

i cut them frequently at my job and if I leave them soaking in the food prep sink too long they be leaky like this. I’ve found these ones hurt my eyes more too

I can milk anything with nipples.

It’s crying. It’s a tactic to make you cry. It’s an inexperienced onion.

The knife is dull. A sharp knife will cut which releases less of the water than a dull knife which crushes the cells releasing more of the water.
