No one said it was noticeable but I’m devastated. At least I know my baby girl didn’t notice

    I’ll never forget my eldest’s first birthday party, I was literally putting on the finishing touches as guests wer walking in the door 😆.

    As long as the food is good and the company is good, the party will be a hit! Have fun!!

    You only see something because you were hyper aware of every detail. Hopefully once you get time away from the cake, you’ll return and see it’s beautiful!! Dare I say perfect!

    As a retired cake decorator of over 35 years of experience, I say this is ADORABLE!! YOU are too hard on yourself.

    If this were her wedding, I could understand being up past midnight (I was decorating many a cake at that hour) I am a night owl, lol.

    Nevertheless, this is wonderful. I hope you got plenty of pics. Kids rarely remember anything earlier than the age of 3. She will never be disappointed in a mom who puts in this kind of effort.

    Just save some of that energy for the teen years, you will need it!!🫶

    Keep it simple especially when kiddos are super young, they don’t care and won’t remember, this is more about adult pride and showing off to other adults than the birthday person
