    Ive never made them cut in half.. Ill have to try that!

    i always fry and crumble sausage, and added it to the cheese mixture(seeds optional). i cut the top off, and hollow out the whole jalapenos, then add the sausage cheese mixture. always keep a few bigger chunks of sausage for a cork. wrap with bacon. For added protection from leakage, i use 2 toothpick in an X fashion to keep the cut end elevated while cooking.

    These look awesome. I always add steak to mine. It’s really easy, I just buy whatever’s cheapest, cut it into strips and stick it inside before bacon wrapping. Game changer!
