Those are just the sardines (1st pic). I've tried only the small tin seen at the bottom, and it was delicious.

Second pic shows just regular fish from local supermarkets.

I'm planning to eat 1-2 tins per week and share some of my thoughts here, as a begginer in eating sardines I think it might be interesting tier list to share :D.

Any recommendations how to start eating, doing tasting with them? I think eating them just like that is okay, but I'd love to add some other ingredients to get them more funky etc.

And 3rd pic shows something that might kill me, MYSTERY TIN! 😀

I just eat them straight up. A nice side of veggies always pairs well

they’re not sold in supermarkets here I don’t think, but I recently realised they’re sold at the imported section of a baking? supply? store?? hahhaa

(@ sg homies I know there’s a few – y’allll I realised Phoon Huat/Redman has it on their online store, didn’t go in to see lol. But it’s like how they sell Callebaut and whatnot, there’s this too. Hahaha)

Great staples to eat any tinned fish..good sourdough bread, grass fed butter, spices, red onions, quality vinegars, capers for cold

Quality Italian pasta, pepper, cherry tomatoes and a great Romano cheese for hot

There are so many many of enjoying tins. Sometimes I make an anchovy sandwich with arugula, chargrilled Portobello mushroom and sliver of import cheese.
