Unique Curry Recipe with Lentil Patties & Raw Banana Fry

π₯ Ingredients:
 For Lentil Patties (Daler Bora):
 Split Bengal Gram (Chana Dal) β 1 cup (soaked 3β4 hours)
 Onion β 1 medium (finely chopped)
 Green Chilies β 2 (chopped)
 Turmeric Powder β Β½ tsp
 Salt β to taste
 Oil β for frying
For Curry:
Raw Banana β 2 (peeled and cut into cubes)
 Onion β 2 (sliced)
 Ginger-Garlic Paste β 1 tsp
 Turmeric Powder β 1 tsp
 Red Chili Powder β 1 tsp
 Cumin Powder β 1 tsp
 Coriander Powder β 1 tsp
 Salt β to taste
 Cooking Oil β 4β5 tbsp
 Water β 1Β½ cups
 Fresh Coriander Leaves β for garnish
π³ Cooking Process:
Make Lentil Patties (Bora):
Grind soaked lentils into a thick paste. Add onion, green chilies, turmeric, and salt. Heat oil and drop small portions to fry until golden and crisp. Keep aside.
Fry Raw Bananas:
In the same oil, lightly fry banana cubes until golden. Remove and keep aside.
Prepare Curry Base:
Heat oil, add sliced onions, and sautΓ© till golden.
 Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
 Add chopped tomato and cook till soft.
Add Spices:
Mix turmeric, red chili, cumin, coriander, and salt. Fry until oil separates.
Make Curry:
Add fried banana and 1Β½ cups of water. Boil until soft and gravy thickens.
Add Lentil Patties:
Add fried lentil patties to the curry. Simmer for 3β4 minutes so they absorb flavor.
Serve:
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
