The flavor is a yay, the fire is a nay.
Fortunately the flavor really carries this one across what I imagine will be a plethora of different types of food. It's pretty darn tasty, and was only $4.59. I sincerely wish it was hotter, but the flavor is good enough to just eat a spoonful of it alone. Going to have a ridiculous amount of this tonight with dinner. It genuinely reminds me of a great Rojo salsa when you find that sketchy looking Mexican joint in a dangerous neighborhood but it turns out to be a real treasure. This was a good recommendation from many of you.

I like this stuff. Great on a breakfast burrito 😋
This sauce is my daily driver. I respect your opinion, but for my spice tolerance, it is a well rounded sauce. And it does have a good flavor.
This is my go to for any hearty soup, and ital/latin themed dishes. In my opinion, not that great on pizza, terrible for eggs. If you need a kick to your tomato soup, this is the one.
When I get a sauce that I like the taste of but it lacks heat I simply add something like Dave’s Ultimate Insanity. Just add a little at a time until it hits the heat level you are looking for.
I liked this one a lot. I also tried their Garlic Parmesan and it was fantastic on a baked potato. Replaced the usual sour cream/cheese/hot sauce for me nicely.
Nothing wrong with that.
I like a few of the Melinda’s but none of them are fantastic in my opinion. Sunbird is way better. Your mileage may vary.
There seems to be a lot of variance on some Melinda sauces.
My fire roasted garlic habanero was almost mild, bottle said 4/5 fires, while I had a garlic hab rated at 2/5 that was much hotter than it should have been.
Bro this is hot as hell, perfect heat level for a habanero ketchup replacement.
Breakfast burrito for me is eggs, bacon, sausage and cheese 😋
Maybe hash browns or home fries
Great sauce you should look into local sauces
The best Melinda’s is their Scorpion sauce, which is hard to find. Ghost Pepper is their best easily available hot sauce. The rest are eh.
In my opinion, it’s hard to beat a good garlic habanero hot sauce. And you are correct when you say this one goes well with a lot of different foods. As for the heat, it’s habanero so it really depends on your tolerance level. For someone with high tolerance (like most of us here) it’s a pretty mild sauce, but for the average Joe it could be kinda spicy.
This is one of my favs. Its so delicious
This is such a reliable and tasty sauce. Never get sick of it.
