**This is a generic reminder message under every image post**

Thank you for your picture post to r/souvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.

If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.

Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

    Thank you!!

Didn’t it replace it a long time ago? The Breville app is way better anyway

Breville bought Joule a while ago, this is no surprise.

Yeah, my Joule doesn’t work anymore either.

  5. Damn. Haven’t tried the new app, but the joule app was awesome for recipes. Basically only opened it for that reason. Bummer

Breville app is better and more reliable

Does the Breville app require any kind of payment or subscription? I was afraid this would happen one day

Any word on if they’ll make the Breville app available in Japan? As of now…it isn’t.

Just went to Breville for the first time and i can’t see a full recipe? It’s just asking me to buy a turbo SV when trying to see a basic cod recipe.

Typically I hate this kind of transition but I’ve found the breville way better than the existing joule app
