[chill music with a beat] So, today I want to show you how to make
maple candied bacon. And let me tell you, it’s easier than you think. First of all, set
your oven at 400 degrees. Place your bacon on your sheet pan. I would say let it bake for about
12 to 15 minutes. Then you want to pull it out of the oven. And you’re going to have this
magic right now. So you’ll see that it’s not overly crispy yet. We have to render out most
of the fat prior to applying the maple syrup. We just want to take a pastry brush,
some maple syrup, give it a little dab, and then of course brush it onto your bacon. Once
you’ve done the first application of maple syrup, you’re just going to flip your bacon. Give
it another little gentle brush of the maple syrup. And then it’s going to go back in the
oven for the remaining 6 to 10 minutes. And what you’re going to end up with is candied
bacon. Magical, sweet, salty, unforgettable.
