These should have been either bismarck or genghis khan brain, which both are red peppers, but these seem to be rippening orange.
Any chance they turn red? Or did I get again a different pepper?

They’ll finish red. That appears normal color progression for a red.
The concerning part is the black dot in the first image. This Chile might be changing color prematurely because its rotting inside. Could be from excessive moisture when the flower was closing, BER, or insect damage.
As far as ID goes all you can do is take your best guess. Wasnt properly tagged and logged.
