Hi. Um, excuse me. Oh, can I be your private chef for the day? Uh, I guess so. So, I don’t know if you’ve ever walked up to a stranger pouring Diet Coke, but I have not because that’s House Chris. She is no stranger, and if you know her, you know, too. She is the queen and director of Diet Coke breaks, and she definitely gets her protein in in a day. And as her private chef for the day, I decided to make a large batch of bone broth, including chicken feet, so there’s lots of collagen. I am planning to serve her dinner, so that broth will become dinner tonight. In the meantime, I decided to make two different types of protein bites to store in her fridge for later snacking. And while Chris is no stranger, I had never cooked for her in person, so I was kind of guessing on what she might want for lunch. I run into this wall a lot where I don’t know what to make, and I always come back to, okay, what’s good? And my favorite two foods are soup and spring rolls. So, I decided to make my miso honey glazed chicken spring rolls that I made and served that day, but also good for future on the-go lunches that are high in protein and also healthy. And no time is wasted because I had a few hours between lunch and dinner. So, I made chicken verde enchiladas with my homemade verde sauce and then also a bunch of cookie dough that she can bake off later. And when I asked Kristen what she wanted for dinner of all things, she said soup, which I definitely could not argue with because it’s also my favorite food. So, I made her my famous Italian wedding soup. I served that with a autumn kale and radikio salad. Once plated, I walked straight over to the Diet Coke machine and served her a crispy diet coke. And this is what she thought of it all. She made us dinner so good. So good.
