Every Middle Easter knows that hummus ranks last in the ranking of dips. Luckily, Yaza has come out with two new dips that rank much higher. Yaza is already known for its tangy lab. They just launched their Baba and eggplant dip and their Mahomera a nutty red pepper dip. And because the holidays are right around the corner, I know they always come up so quick every year. Instead of making our dips from scratch, we are just going to dress them up like a little accessory to an outfit. For the Baba Khan, I made a tomato and olive top nod. Fresh dill and negla seeds which add such a brightness to the smoky eggplant. And then for the Muhammad, we’re making a nutty pistachio dooka is actually my favorite of all of the Middle Eastern dish. It is already packed with nuts. But this nutty spiced pistachio duka with some fresh mint just takes it to another level. And last, but certainly not least, we are dressing up their signature lemon, drizzled scallions, and chili butter, which adds this nutty spiciness to the tangy cool leb. I give you full permission this holiday season to just buy the dips, especially Yaza’s dips. Now available at Kings.
