Is it just me or are the “cups” getting smaller each day?

  2. QueenOfBrews

You know you’re early when the planes haven’t showed up yet.

  3. Kathumandu

I appreciate these posts on the daily. Keep it up, bring a smile to all our faces!

“The beginner tries until he gets it right, the master tries until he cannot get it wrong” -this guy’s head chef probably

  5. We’re never going to say they’re perfect.

Nothing can ever be truly perfect.

You’ve doomed yourself with the post title… and no you can’t change it now.

    See you tomorrow chef.

  6. matolandio

these posts are everything i used to love about reddit.

    🫡🧑‍🍳 you got this chef!

  7. I do not fear the man who has practiced cutting 1000 foods. I fear the man who has practiced cutting one food 1000 times. See you tomorrow, Chef.

  8. BoopTheCoop

I was getting worried it wasn’t happening today.

  9. Maladaptivism

I’m no chef, but I just want to say that continuous repetition until perfection is inspirational. Thank you, chef!

Hahahah this is my favorite sub right now

  11. GetBentHo

I hope you finish by Halloween.

Only to dress up as a bunch of chives.

  12. Do you have some sort of preparation routine before each attempt now? What are you doing to work towards improving?

  13. schrodingers-box

op what do you even do with all of these chives

  14. _Laughing_Man

My only fear is that I’ll miss the day of perfection, never see a chive post again, and some months from now I’ll wonder, “did he ever do it or did he give up?”

  15. BiploarFurryEgirl

I look forward to these posts every day

  16. EssArrBee

Are you on a first name basis with your chive guy yet?

  17. goldeneagle1833

The new tactic is to less and less. Soon only two circles will remain

  18. I am not a chef but I have been following this since like day 2 and I must say I am impressed again. I could never do this good of a job cutting lol. I still have no idea how this was recommended to me to begin with

  19. So are we looking for a working majority or a particular supermajority or what are the terms of this deal? (I’ve missed some of the votes.)

  20. meadowfoam

Horrendous the way the chives mark the passing of time, where has the month gone ?

  21. chrizcore

You’ve hit a plateau, brother. Go zest some limes for a few weeks, then return to perfecting your chive game.

  22. Damn chef. They’re really starting to become more r/findthesniper 👏👏You’ll know you made it when it takes them a while to find one.

  23. To achieve that you should think like chives, become chives, then forget about them completely, and only then you start chopping them.

  24. Kentucky_Fried_Chill

It’s like where’s Waldo for maniacs.

  25. bolivar-shagnasty

Here’s the thing. We’re being conditioned to see fewer and fewer chives each day. Eventually, there will only be one sliced chive. Whether or not that one singular chive is perfectly chopped is up to OP. But it’s obvious OP is taking the lazy way out and trying to okiedoke this sub and its members.

  26. tokenwalrus

This is my most reliable way of seeing the passage of time.

  27. llama_sweater

This sub won’t be the same when this man perfects the chive.

  28. JustAnAverageGuy

Cuts are looking super clean chef!

If you’re serious about chasing perfection, you’ve still got inconsistency in the thickness of the slices. Make sure your knife is resting against your fingers with a claw grip, then practice moving your fingers back the thickness of your cut, not trying to move the knife.

  29. Squbasquid

At this point I feel like if you get it perfect, this subreddit will implode. Definitely getting better. Chive on.

  30. Admirable_Risk8156

Nah they need to be ground into dust. We can’t have anything that looks like it could have come from a plant.
