Honestly, how good is a long lunch in the sunshine? With Cup Day around the corner, Ambra is shaking up the race-day rulebook, and it’s never looked (or tasted) this good. While many offices might watch the races on the big screen, Ambra is using the day for an excuse for drinks and bites in the sunshine.

Next Tuesday, the Thebarton distillery will transform into a Italian-socked party for ‘Melbourne Cup – The Ambra Way (All Festa!)’, celebrating the exclusive release of its brand-new Pink Limoncello Spritz. And if their now-iconic original Limoncello Spritz (dubbed the “drink of summer”) is anything to go by, this new rendition will be nothing short of delicious.

Forget the trackside marquees and televised races, this is Ambra’s take on the big day. It’s a long afternoon celebrating all the energy of race day with good friends, good music, and even better drinks.

“This event is really a celebration of friendship — spritzes in the sun, good food, and laughter all day long. We’re launching our brand-new Pink Limoncello Spritz, and we’ll be putting on the usual show to make sure everyone has one hell of a fun Tuesday!” shares co-owner Finn Healey.

Guests will kick off with a Pink Limoncello Spritz on arrival before diving into three hours of bottomless Ambra spirits, beer and wine, all paired with roaming Italian canapés and indulgent grazing boards. The theme is all things Mediterranean, so expect tables filled with Euro-themed snacks, Aperol-fuelled laughter, and the delightful sound of a live saxophonist melting into a DJ set as the afternoon turns golden. Just bellissima.

Fashion will of course be part of the festa, with Best Dressed prizes and a $1,000 venue voucher to use at Ambra, all while supporting a good cause.

“This year, we’re also proud to be giving back — a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated to a local racehorse rehabilitation charity, supporting the welfare of retired racehorses here in South Australia,” shares Finn.

So leave the fascinators and form guides behind. There are no screens, no stiff luncheons, just immaculate vibes and endless festa energy. It’s the perfect excuse to gather your crew, raise a Spritz to the season, and toast to the Ambra way.

“We’re all about fun at AMBRA, but we’re also about community. If we can throw a great party and do a bit of good along the way — that’s a win in our book,” adds Finn.

Tickets are $89 per person, which includes the full three-hour bottomless experience. But here’s where it gets even better. As a special treat for Glam Adelaide followers, the Ambra team are offering an exclusive 20% off tickets. Spots are limited, so book ahead, dress to impress, and get ready to say saluti to summer.
