Attention hot sauce manufacturers! Don’t name your hot sauce after the hottest pepper in the world if TacoBell’s Mild sauce provides more kick. I’m so tired of wasting my money on crap like this. 0/10.

Agree it’s not hot. But I do find it tasty. I have a bottle and enjoy it.

Rookie mistake not checking ingredients before buying

  3. Check the ingredients next time. Most abundant ingredients are listed first. If the pepper is far down the list, it won’t be spicy.

  4. HoochShippe

Yeah that’s just wrong listing a pepper that isn’t in the sauce. Gotta check the ingredient list.

Eh.. Carolina Reaper is a flavor at this point. Tons a tasty, but mild CR options. Look up heat ratings on your phone before you buy.

That being said, Lola’s is one of my least favorite hot sauce companies. Basic, bland, entirely forgettable.

Lola’s is garbage across the board.

It has to be a brand just created for a larger food company, because there is no way someone would try the sauce and say “y’know what? This needs to be a national brand” and there is seemingly no way someone would create this dreck, and it would sell enough to attract any attention outside of folks that lost their sense of taste related to Covid.

All of their sauces taste the same. Except their mango ginger scotch bonnet one. It’s still nothing exceptional, but not a total disappointment like the others.

I honestly was disappointed in the heat on this one however it did have a reaper flavor. Not grand but I also only spent a dollar a bottle on this stuff.

Lol I just bought the ghost pepper one last week. In Canada. What a ripoff. It was either 9.99 or 12.99 can’t remember. Either way it’s barely even hot and the flavor isn’t even that good.

No no, don’t you see… it’s Lola’s sauce, but the woman who picked the one bell pepper we put in it was “Caroline, a reaper” and we spelt it wrong…

Never expect spicy form a sauce from Des Moines.

  12. Seriously. I tried that one and it tasted like slightly sweet barbecue sauce or something? Not really hot at all

  13. I feel as though 95% of hot sauces are actually mild sauces.

  14. Read the label.

Ingredients: red jalapeno peppers, distilled vinegar, lime juice, water, garlic, Carolina reapers, salt

Less reapers than garlic. I’d expect this to be in the range of Hoy Fong sriracha on the scoville scale.

Seek out hot sauces where the hot peppers are the number one ingredient by weight.

    (Like mine. Cough)

Haha that started where I live and everyone thinks it is tits… shit is straight garbage.

  17. Thecool_1

I was gifted this a few months back and it went straight to the trash can. Just nasty with zero heat

  18. DTXSPEAKS

Lola’s is just another gift set hot sauce brand. Don’t buy from them

  19. They_Call_Me_D2

I rather have water with red food coloring.

  20. EvidenceLegitimate40

Agree fully! I have a bottle in my fridge and it is absolute trash and disgrace to the name. I live in Des Moines and Lola’s hot sauce is not good.

  21. GourmetFilet

It’s all just chat gpt logo/brand bullshit it feels like

Hot sauce for the lifted truck/truck nuts alpha bros. Bought a bottle of Lola’s scorpion four years ago and still remember how lame it was. Like Frank’s might be hotter, no disrespect to Frank’s. If you like Lola’s cool, but it has serious Kompensator vibes.
