    That’s a standard chili like you get in Santa Fe or Albuquerque in bunches might be a red hatch. They’re edible 20-30 years after they dry. Great boiled in soup kind of tasteless when eaten dried. Just heat and crunch

    All joking aside I’d probably break it open and see if it molded on the inside. I’ve had peppers that look fine outside and had mold inside. I don’t understand the witchcraft.
