UPDATE: First ever pot roast

    Follow up to my post this morning. Cooked on low for just shy of 11 hours. Very happy with the results. Could use a touch less salt (I added soy sauce and better than bullion so that’ll be why) and the top was a little dry (next time I guess I’ll just add more liquid?)

    But overall very happy and looking forward to leftovers tomorrow 😋

    ETA also toddler approved so that’s the real win here

    am i the only one the likes it when the top (not submerged) gets crusty? it’s like the burnt ends of a pot roast but you have the glorious benefits of all the juices in your bowl.

  7. That looks amazing! Congrats on your first ever pot roast! I’ve been making them for years and I’ve yet to make one that looks that good!
