There’s gingerbread, chocolate, and candy canes galore in Asda’s bakery range for the 2025 festive season.
The retailer has unwrapped a stocking full of sweet and savoury products spanning party food, the main event, and dessert as well as the run up to the big day.
“This year we’re going back to our roots with a selection of Christmas classics and traditional flavour profiles we know our customers love,” said Linsey Taylor, Asda’s senior director – NPD & innovation. “My favourite is the Melt & Reveal Dessert. We know profiteroles are a firm customer favourite, so we’ve created a showstopper that is bound to add theatre as well as a touch of indulgence.”

Ginger & Chocolate Panettone
Asda said this panettone is made using traditional methods with a mother dough that has been nurtured for over 50 years. It’s studded with crystallised ginger pieces, filled with rich chocolate sauce and topped with dark chocolate before being finished with dark & white chocolate sprinkles.
Florentine Topped Caramel Mince Pies
Mince pies are ripe for innovation, and this year the retailer has sought to sweeten the serve by adding caramel to its brandy-infused mincemeat. The mince pie, which is made by a bakery in Cumbria, is then hand topped with a sweet and chewy almond Florentine.
Three Little Piggies Wrap
The Three Little Piggies Hog Roast and Pigs Under Blankets Half & Half Wrap is a two-in-one wrap that’s inspired by Asda’s previous Hog Roast Sandwich with pulled pork, apple sauce and sage & onion stuffing. The second half of the duo, is an exciting combo with flavours from this year’s new Pigs Under Blankets Sandwich with pork sausages, bacon, onion chutney, and mayonnaise. The retailer has also added a Festive Ham & Brioche Roll to its food-to-go line-up.
Melt & Reveal Dessert
Living up to its name, the Melt & Reveal Dessert sees a dozen fresh cream profiteroles encased in a chocolate dome. Heat the rich butterscotch sauce and pour it over to smother the profiteroles in the delicious combo. The dessert is finished with crunchy honeycomb pieces for added texture.
Langoustine & King Prawn Tarts
Asda is helping to elevate the party food experience with these tantalising tarts. All butter pastry cases are filled with king prawns and langoustine tails before a rich Newburg sauce is layered on top to deliver hints of sherry and lemon. The tarts are then finished with a sprinkling of parmesan.
Wreath Cake
This festive cake is made from two layers of Madeira sponge sandwiched together with raspberry jam. It’s then covered in vanilla flavoured frosting which is hand decorated with green swirls in a wreath design before Christmas confetti and a holly plaque is placed on top.
Festive Feast Mini Toasties
Part of the party food range – which includes fish & chip stacks and mini battered sausages – the mini toasties are filled with chicken breast, bacon, stuffing, and cranberry sauce smothered in cheese.
Candy Cane Yule Log
This vibrant yule log is filled with vanilla frosting, enrobed in a smooth milk chocolate, and then smothered in even more frosting. It’s topped with festive sprinkles and mini candy cane decorations. Other candy cane themed items as part of Asda’s range include Candy Cane Cake Cubes – four individual chocolate cake cubes filled with chocolate buttercream – and Candy Cane Profiteroles which are filled with fresh cream and topped with white chocolate fondant.
Gingerbread Chocolate Sponge
Combining chocolate with the warming flavours of gingerbread, this cake sees a soft chocolate sponge studded with pockets of Belgian milk chocolate and fudge pieces. For added theatre, it is accompanied by a sachet of milk chocolate sauce to pour over, melting away the blonde chocolate gingerbread man that covers the sponge.
Gingerbread Baubles
More interactivity comes from these Gingerbread Baubles. The six spiced gingerbread biscuits, which have three different indents, come with a tube of green fondant icing, and red, white, and green sprinkles to decorate at home.
Pigs in Duvets with Cheese Fondue Dip
Forget pigs in blankets, these pigs are extra cosy all tucked up in a pastry duvet. For added indulgence, the tear & share sausage roll wreath is accompanied by a Vintage Cheddar cheese fondue bake.
Gingerbread Long Dough
Doughnuts just got cuter. Asda’s festive iteration sees a long doughnut filled with gingerbread frosting and hand finished with a gingerbread man decoration.
Christmas Tree Shaped Yorkshire Puddings
Adding a touch of fun to Christmas dinner are these giant Christmas Tree Shaped Yorkshire Puddings. They’re available in a two-pack and perfect for stuffing pigs in blankets into.
Black Forest Yule Log
Asda is serving up yet another twist on the yule log, this time with Black Forest flavours. The chocolate sponge is rolled with Morello cherry and fresh cream, covered with chocolate fudge and finished with dark chocolate shavings and red lustre.
Pistachio Profiteroles
Profiteroles meet the flavour of the moment, pistachio. The profiteroles, available in a pack of six, are filled with pistachio cream mousse and topped with chocolate fondant and pistachio pieces.
