Finally back in the win column after multiple failures using my old Green Mountain Grills pellet smoker. I admittedly was naive and did not fully understand where the hot spots were in my cooking chamber, and after monitoring things with an infrared thermometer I was able to get this plate of beef ribs in a spot that was representative of the cooking temp I was planning for.

yes, they are the most incredible thing I have ever eaten in my entire life. that is, until I discovered corned brisket. omg it’s on a different level, I can’t get enough of it. The only thing that could possibly be better is corned dino ribs, but I wonder if that’s even a thing….

2 things i realized early on

    1. Beef ribs are underrated

    2. Pulled pork is overrated

Obviously my opinion but I think a lot here would agree

What’s the name of this particular cut of beef rib?

  5. Never-Dont-Give-Up

They usually are eaten up before my pork ribs when I smoke both for a party.

Thanks for pics of your dinner. Care to share your times and temps or is it a secret recipe?

No credit, pellet grills are outdoor ovens not Smokers. Best of luck when you decide to step your game up. Btw for a pellet grill it looks good but it’s hard to look bad.
