Capri is a new venture from the owner of San Marino and Belmont and is replacing two shuttered businesses on Market Street in Westhoughton.
Planners have now approved the building’s change of use and the merger of the two buildings on October 27.
They said that before the application 19 Market Street was a café and 21 Market Street was a fish and chip shop.

The proposed opening hours for the restaurant are 9am to 2.30pm and 5pm to 11pm from Monday to Friday and 10am to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The planning application was approved this month.
