Because adding back in the pit is a myth

No more brown guacamole. You want to start out by completely flattening the surface. Then you’re just going to take regular old saran wrap and completely cover it edge to edge. Now, in order to prevent the oxidation, you want to make sure you have full contact with your guacamole. So, start in the center and then just push your way out all the way to the edge. Then, just bunch up the excess saran wrap. And there you go.

  1. You also want to brush the top of it with lime juice before wrapping it. Trust me it makes such a difference

  2. Another guac hack to keep it looking green is to fill the leftover space with water. Just pour it off when you want to eat the guac. Just be careful to slowly pour so it doesn’t mix into it

  3. Very light layer of water on top and simply pour it off when its time to eat works well too!

  4. Also in a tupperware, packed down and flat; small film of water covering the top. Dump out water when you take it out to eat

  5. add a thin layer of water on top of the plastic wrap (not on the guac) and it will vacuum seal all the air out and keep it fresh the longest!

  6. Spreading the word ❤ :

  7. If your guac is in a container, you can blanket the guac with a burst of CO2 from your Sodastream which evacuates air and quicy close the lid. CO2 has a higher molecular weight, and will settle at the bottom of the container – so leveling the guac in the jar is useful.
    There’s your new video. You’re welcome😊

  8. The lemon that you put in real quac keeps that from happening. Quac is avacado, lemon juice, garlic salt and pepper to taste..that's the base..not lime unless that's all you got..citrus prevents the bad color and is flavor.

  9. why didnt you show what it looks like after leaving it for a few hours? theres still a layer on the very top that needs to be scraped…

  10. If you put a thin layer of lime juice before the plastic wrap it stays even fresher longer, and the flavor bomb is nice
