The Cedar Door’s 50th anniversary 🍸

I visited The Cedar Door over the weekend for the first time. One of those places I’ve heard about for years and driven by but never been inside. I saw they have a bunch of events and specials this week for their 50th anniversary.

I mainly know it as the place credited for inventing the Mexican Martini. Mexican Martinis are my favorite cocktail, I started getting them at Trudy’s, and Baby A’s over the years. I was impressed to see Cedar Door has six versions of the drink on their menu. I like that they serve them with a full shaker, got this one extra dirty and it was really good.

They had a block party on Tuesday night that I missed. Anyone go? Tonight is a Dazed & Confused watch party and McConaughey look alike contest.

Anyways, cheers to them I’m glad they’re still keeping on.
