Got my hands on a really cool grinder prototype with a multi-bean system ☕🔥
Each bean container has two adjustment rings to set grind size and weight, and when you drop it on the grinder it automatically adjusts through the container’s mechanics ⚙️
Should make switching between beans super easy, it does an empty grind and has no dead volume, so no old coffee gets mixed in.
Let’s see how it holds up over time.
What's your opinion about this think, i think its a cool concept

Concept is very interesting.
Cool concept indeed. Although the grinder itself being of high quality would be crucial.
So how does retention factor into this? Are the beans always seperated?
German engineering
This sounds like it’s going to solve a lot of issues
So, does each bean holder have it’s own burrs?
If yes, how do the burrs get connected to the motor?
How airtight are the bean holders when off the grinder?
I assume that’s bean storage hoppers, right?
How is the grinder duty cycle controlled? Has each container a dedicated timer amount, is it a GBW system…
If that’s a single dose solution: why? Just setting burr settings according to the beans and storing the numbers in a spreadsheet is easy enough.
Is there any documentation on this prototype one could look up?
I am more interested in how is that grind by weight in the adjustment ring supposed to work
How did you get this and where from ?
