Hello there
I was suddenly carving cinnamon buns and realized that I got all ingredient in my home so I’m trying to make it, but the result looks really bad
The recipe which I followed will attach in the post , I think the most reason make it failed is because
1. Im kneading dough not enough
As I don’t have machine so I’m use hand to kneading
- Rolling dough too thick , should be more slowly and rolling with more layers.
Just wondering if there Anything else that i can improve on it

In Sweden we do a different shape and add way more cinnamon than this. The dough itself looks fluffy though!
The bread itself looks properly risen and fluffy, so I think your only issue is the thickness. You need to roll out the dough much more thinly to create that neat swirl.
I recommend following this recipe. Trust me you won’t be disappointed . The instructions are great as well and might help with some of your issues.

The dough looks fine, but you need to roll it much thinner and make sure to tighten the roll a bit more. Also I would add more filling than that. Cut with a sharp knife so they won’t lose too much shape.
Dough looks good. I’d use more filling, for taste and separation between layers. Rolling out a little thinner for more layers.
Some egg wash for color will do great wonders too
Maybe put some icing on it.
Agree with other posters. Also, i like to use fishing line or unflavored floss to make the cuts. Wrap all the way around the rolled up tube and pull tight. That way you’re cutting from every angle in and they don’t smoosh down.
s everyone has said, the dough looks fine, but you should roll it out much more thinly. And add WAY more filling! Especially if you want a true ‘cinnamon roll’ vibe. Use a whole cup of brown sugar and at least a tablespoon of cinnamon, plus spread some melted butter on the dough before you sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mix over. (As they say, measure their cinnamon with your heart😉)
Good luck next time! I learned to make bread completely by hand with no mixer, so if you can get a nice dough texture like you have there, you’re doing great!
Not sure about kneading, but the dough looks fine to me.
However, you really need to roll it out much thinner to get them the way you want them.
Since others are sharing their recipes, my go to is this [Clone of a Cinnabon](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/20156/clone-of-a-cinnabon/). I get rave reviews every time I make them. My teen daughter even asked me to make them for her birthday instead of a cake!
You really need butter in the filling, only sugar and cinnamon sounds very dry
Personally, I would triple that filling. I have an amazing cinnamon roll recipe and it calls for way more sugar, butter, and cinnamon.
Icing on top would hide all issues and taste fabulously good.
Where’s the cinnamon?!
