PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Saturday marks the start of November, which means it’s time for fresh Oregon-made olive oil.

The 16th annual Olio Nuovo Festival returns this weekend to the Durant Olive Mill in Dayton, celebrating this year’s olive harvest.

KOIN 6 News’ Kohr Harlan visited Thursday morning to learn how olives are processed before being turned into oil.
