Trying Wendy’s Screamin’ Hot Chicken Tender Even Though I Hate Spicy!

Wendy’s new chicken tenders, branded as “Tendys,” are made with all-white meat, a seasoned breading, and are available nationwide in three- or four-piece orders. They come with six new dipping sauce options, including Wendy’s Signature sauce, Sweet Chili, and Scorchin’ Hot, and can be purchased a la carte or as part of a combo meal.

Chicken: All-white meat chicken tenders.
Breading: Crispy, seasoned breading.
Sauces: Six new dipping sauces are available: Wendy’s Signature, Sweet Chili, Scorchin’ Hot, Creamy Ranch, Honey BBQ, and Honey Mustard.

What’s going on everybody? Mac from Wendy’s. I know we’re not reviewing this meal because I don’t like spicy food, but got napkins. About three or four napkins, which is good. Now, I got two different sauces on the app. I was You’re only able to get like choose one or the other, which is they need to fix that. But I got their screaming uh hot, which I’m not really looking forward to that cuz I don’t like spicy food. And I got the Wendy’s signature. Had to make a somewhat of a meal. I didn’t get a drink, but I got a medium fry. And the chicken tenders are nice and hot. I’ll open this up and show you what they look like in a minute. And they give you directions how to do the dipping sauce, but I’m not going to do that. But don’t use me anymore. Eat. I do have the receipt. Four fourpiece was $7.29. Sauces were free. Medium fried was $2.99. Came up to $1028. Tax is $1.29. Came to a whopping $1.57. Try out the fries. They look pretty fresh. Oh, lost the fry. I know I’m not eating it. Fries are a little bit better. They used to be and now they’re like a little bit crispy. Before used to be all really soggy and nasty. But I give them a solid about 4.7 for the fries. All right, we’re here for the chicken nuggets. Not really for the fries, but top to top. I’m not going to put the camera down and show a closeup of it. Let’s try to get a closeup of this. Hopefully, make sure it focuses and you can see the crispiness of it. And I can’t break it in half. That’s kind of sucks. And it’s hard to see, but it is a whole piece of chicken. It’s not like processed besides being battered and deep fried at the store. So, looks pretty good. All right, let’s try a chicken tender by itself without any sauce. Smells pretty good. So, let’s give this a try. See if I actually like it uh by itself and then I’ll get to the sauce. Cheers. I seasoned really well. Chicken is nice and tender and, you know, somewhat juicy. Uh, way better than McDonald’s. This is what McDonald’s chicken should have been. I don’t try to do some light crispy batter, but it’s not people were wanting anyway. So, let’s get into the signature sauce. Let’s open this up. I’m not really sure what this supposed to be. If it’s supposed to be like a cane sauce or if it’s uh that could be a zak sauce. Smell vinegar. I’ll be a close-up shot of it. I guess I’ll try it by itself. A lot of seasonings going on in the sauce itself. Nice and creamy, nice and thick. All right, let’s try with the chicken. See if it goes well with it. All that matters. So, cheers. Chicken nugget. actually all chicken tender actually kind of cancel out the sauce a little bit cuz both items has a lot of seasoning going on and you get the creaminess and then the tanginess of the sauce and then you know the crunchiness of the chicken breading is really good. I give the sher sauce I give the chicken I say I can’t really give the chicken a score by itself but because I don’t like eating chicken without dipping sauce. So, I probably give about a four. You know, probably would be my go-to because I do have other sauces. Barbecue and sweet and sour honey mustard. They got their ranch and ghost pepper ranch. All right, we’ll save this one for last cuz I don’t want to burn my face off. So, it’s their uh screaming hot, which I’m guessing is supposed to be buffalo sauce, I guess. I don’t know. Not really sure. I didn’t look at their website or the app. I just went there to get it. like a creamy buffalo. I was waiting for it to be uh super hot and it’s building. Really similar to a creamy buffalo sauce. Super hot though. how much I can actually eat of this sauce because it’s gonna bother my stomach and stuff. So, all right, let’s give this a sauce a try with the with the chicken tenders and uh make my final thoughts and rating of the products. Cheers. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it does have a weird aftertaste a little bit. But yeah, I I can’t have no more of that. That’s like way too spicy. So yeah, this is way hotter than Buffalo sauce. But it’s good if you like, you know, the heat, you know. It’s, you know, is it Carolina hot spicy? No, but about a medium hot, you know. So yeah, overall the price kind of expensive for a four piece, you know, for $730. I can’t remember what the threepiece is. It’s like $6 and change, but uh yeah, they’re worth worth uh getting the four piece for sure. Way better than McDonald’s, especially if you get them freshly made.
