Here’s the only homemade buttermilk ranch recipe you’ll ever need.
Base Ingredients:
– Mayonaise
– Sour Cream
– Buttermilk
– Garlic
– Lemon Juice & Zest
– Oregano
– Parsley
– Salt
– Pepper
Start by combining equal parts of mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk. Add freshly-grated garlic, a little lemon zest, and fresh lemon juice.
Finish with oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper before mixing until well combined.
Now that you have your buttermilk ranch base, add different herbs and spices until you’ve reached your perfect ranch flavor. Things like onion powder, dill, and chives are great for a classic taste, but don’t be afraid to play around with other flavors and additions.
Best of all, you can stop paying too much for bottles of mass-produced, mediocre bottled ranch at the grocery store.
Save this recipe for later, and be sure to let me know what you think.

This is the last buttermilk ranch recipe you will ever need. One part mayo, one part sour cream, one part buttermilk. You get some garlic. Now, this is the trick. Very little lemon zest, lemon juice, little bit of oregano, chopped parsley, little bit of salt. You will never have to buy ranch again. Never. This is a mess recipe. You make this and you can add whatever you want to it. The possibilities are endless.

Dill always needs to go into ranch! That’s what makes it a ranch sauce IMO
