Had a fantastic time celebrating my mother’s Birthday at Le Bernardin last night! The food was phenomenal as was the wine!
Tasting notes:
The nose, a refined mix of white flowers, citrus, and fresh pear with hints of hazelnut. On the palate, bright acidity and silky texture reveal flavors of lemon cream, green apple, toasted almond, and subtle minerality . The finish was long and pure — an elegant, precise expression of Puligny
The meal:
Peekytoe Crab Salad; Confetti Cauliflower, Dijon Mustard-Citrus Sauce
Steamed Lobster; Kumquat and Charred Cucumber, Spiced Shellfish-Citrus Broth
Crispy Black Bass; Bayaldi Pinwheels, Preserved Lemon-Smoky Pimentón Sauce
Warm Peruvian Chocolate Tart, Tahitian Vanilla Ice
all paired quite beautifully with this particular bottle!

Thoughts on the age and drinking now versus cellaring it. I fully understand that it is wat it is at a restaurant. But my hunch would be that it is still (too) young? Great wine obviously!!
These still drink pretty great young too, save the les folatieres for the age
/r/finedining would also love this post!
How much was the bottle? Guessing off the list?
It sounds like the perfect pairing with such an incredible meal! That wine must have been a beautiful complement to those dishes, especially with the bright acidity and silky texture you mentioned.
I love this wine!! The 2022 is so superior to the 21 and 23. I found it incredibly well balanced.
