Hey everyone, welcome to my channel, My Kitchen. Today I’ve prepared lentil patties for you. Perfectly measured, perfect consistency. A delicious recipe. I highly recommend you try it. And now, let’s get straight to the recipe. For my recipe, I’m taking one cup of lentils, my colander, and I’m going to wash them thoroughly. My cups are 200 ml. I’m putting the lentils in the colander. I’m adding three cups of water to them. I’m closing the lid. I’m leaving my lentils to cook. Let’s check on them occasionally. Lentils can get mushy. Let’s stir them from time to time. Let’s boil the lentils like this. The lentils are nicely boiled. Now I’m adding one cup of fine bular to them. Using the 200ml cup fine bulgar, I’m adding it. I’m mixing and I’m closing the lid and letting it steam for half an hour. While the bular is steaming, I’m putting my pot on the stove and adding a little more than half a tea glass of liquid oil. I’m adding it. Then I’m adding one finely chopped onion. I’m sautéing the onion nicely. To my sauteed onions, I’m adding one tablespoon of pepper and tomato paste together. You can also add them separately. I’m sautéing the paste nicely until it loses its raw taste. The dish is ready now. I’m setting it aside to cool and moving on to chopping the herbs. Our lentils and bular have steamed beautifully. Now I’m transferring them into a wide bowl. I’m adding salt. I added a little more than a teaspoon of salt. I added one teaspoon, maybe 1.5 teaspoon of red pepper flakes and one teaspoon of black pepper I added. And now I’m going to knead them nicely with my spices. After kneading for a minute or two, let’s add our paste and onion mixture. I’m mixing everything together again, friends. I squeezed half a lemon. I’m going to add the juice of half a lemon. Let’s not add too much. It might make our mixture too runny. Look how great the consistency is right now. When you squeeze them, your patties will instantly take shape. They will take shape. Not too much. I added the juice of about half a lemon. I’ll add a tiny bit of pomegranate molasses, too. You can skip it if you want. We love sour flavors at our house. I added a little pomegranate molasses. By the way, I want to give a small reminder, friends. If you’re not subscribe to my channel yet, you can subscribe. You can like it. You can leave comments.
