Hi all – I used to keep my compost bin next to my outside stairs and I must’ve dropped some tomato scraps next to the bin. I just found out I now have an accidental tomato plant! This is so exciting bc it’s my first veggie plant ever!
Anyway, it’s getting colder out, temps will be dropping, and I’m not optimistic it will survive. Can I (or should I) transplant it to a pot and bring it inside? Or should I just appreciate the time I have left and let nature take its course? For what it’s worth, there are two more seedlings at the base of this plant, neither with flowers.
Any advice and thoughts would be so helpful. Thanks in advance!

Appreciate the time you have left there’s not enough sun to help fix transplant shock and it’s on its way out anyhow. Veryyy cool tho! Also don’t wait till it’s red the moment you see even a touch or orange in it, pluck it. You want to be able to take that one in asap. If you bring the mostly green ones inside and put them in a paper bag they will become red within a couple days. Tomatoes release something called ethylene which causes them to ripen if concentrated
