Bistro Del Mare in Nelson Street, which replaced the former Tony Macaroni site on the seafront, announced the temporary closure on its Facebook page and website.
The restaurant, located within the iconic Nardini’s Café, is the latest addition to the town’s dining scene and describes itself as an Italian eatery that “showcases the finest Scottish seafood.”

A statement on its official website reads: “As the seasons change, Bistro Del Mare will take a short winter pause and will reopen to welcome guests again in April 2026 — ready to bring a fresh taste of Italian coastal dining back to Largs.”
