I was in Publix tonight and found this Raspberry Elegance Limited Edition ice cream in a pint size. I’m sorry I didn’t buy more of it, but I’m kind of glad I didn’t, since I would destroy it and gain a lot of weight.
The base is a white chocolate ice cream that’s sweet but not sickening. The ice cream has ribbons of raspberry sauce and white chocolate raspberry flavored cups mixed in. These white cups blend into the ice cream very easily, so you might think that you don’t have any mixed in at first — but they are in there.
The only thing that I could say I missed is having some dark chocolate flakes in it. It’s absolutely delicious and addictive, and I think people who like chocolate and raspberry flavored ice cream will find it to be a huge hit!

I can’t say I didn’t like it, but because I am a huge fan of the Raspberry Elegance cake, which this flavor is based off of, I was ultimately disappointed. The cake has cream cheese frosting, and does not contain any white chocolate. I feel they missed the mark by not incorporating some element of the cream cheese taste into the ice cream. They should have added a cream cheese frosting swirl, but they could have at least made the base cream cheese.

I don’t usually go for any ice cream with fruit in it, but this looks really good to me!
