๐Ÿ’›Glorious Bananas & Cream Pancakes and breakfast plate ๐Ÿ’› [~549 for TOTAL plate]

I actually had this for dinner and am still thinking about it. Also, yes, I literally have posted some variation of protein pancakes thrice on this subreddit, but I stand by them being the BEST volume food ever. ๐ŸŒ

๐ŸฅžBreakdown (Pancake recipe below)๐Ÿฅžโฌ‡๏ธ

  • Banana Pancakes ~245 cal
  • Sf Maple syrup (3 tbsp)~8 cal
  • 1/3 Pink Lady Apple ~43 cal
  • 1/4 cup whipped cottage cheese ~55 cal
  • Medium Banana (half in pancakes, half served on side) ~110 cal
  • Strawberries x2 ~8 cal
  • Medium Egg ~70 cal

๐ŸŒRecipe๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฆ

๐Ÿฅž 3 tbsp Egg Substitute
๐Ÿฅž20 grams AP Flour
๐Ÿฅž20 grams Vanilla Protein Powder
๐ŸฅžSweetener (to taste; I did 1.5 tbsp)
๐Ÿฅž1 tsp Baking Powder
๐Ÿฅž1-2 tbsp water (adjust as needed)
๐Ÿฅž1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
๐Ÿฅž1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

๐Ÿฅžhalf of a banana (sliced)

๐Ÿฅฃ Mix all ingredients from egg substitute to cinnamon. Pour onto skillet (I highly recommend the Dash Mini Skillet) and place banana slices. Cook, flip, and enjoy!

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธNotes:

โ€ข My cottage cheese is lactose free but you could always substitute 2% or whatever ur preference is for different macros

โ€ข Donโ€™t waste your time buying or looking for whipped cottage cheese. Throw some regular cottage cheese in a food processor and blend it up (I added a tiny bit of water to help it smooth out a bit)

โ€ข Subbing the egg for plain egg whites or removing the banana from the side will lower the calories even more without affecting the volume too much
