The travel website said its best restaurant and travel awards go to businesses that receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over 12 months. Out of 8 million listings, fewer than 1 percent achieve this milestone, according to TripAdvisor.
Le Yaca French Restaurant, located just minutes away from downtown Williamsburg at 1430 High St., came in 23rd on TripAdvisor’s recently released list.

“France-meets-Virginia is the vibe at Le Yaca. You’ll see it reflected in the creative menu (duck à l’orange and lemon tarts are standouts) and in its charming interiors complete with a working fireplace. The staff are quick to refill a glass or answer questions. Pro tip: Book an early table to soak up the atmosphere uninterrupted.”
