Thanks to you guys for making the posts about Home Depot putting them on clearance!
I got on the Home Depot website and checked every location within an hour from me. I found a location that had two of them on clearance. The floor model (pictured) was kind of beat up, but the second one was still in the crate for the same price, so I bought that.
Ultimately we had to unbox it in order to get it into the SUV. I bought a Joe Jr about 10 months ago. It’s great, and my only regret is that I didn’t go ahead and purchase the classic size to begin with. I can’t believe that I was able to get one or $900 off. For anyone looking, the Home Depot website will tell you the in-store clearance price. You just have to keep changing your store location and go location by location to see if they have one in-store.

Certainly a better deal than the Connected Joe’s they are trying to get rid of due to fundamental operating issues associated with the grill being App as opposed to manually controlled. Kamados don’t need to be connected, and there are 3rd party devices available for those who want some App controlled functionality.

I don’t need a second Joe. I don’t need a second Joe. I don’t need a second Joe…

This price makes my soul cry for buying last year

That gasket doesn’t look right. It’s best off if you repair it before you start cooking because all it needs is adhesive. You can get it for free for a warranty claim. You probably also could have knocked the price down a little bit more. My father picked up the same grill that was being sold for $650, The cart was showing some rust so they reduced the price by an additional 50% to 325. They don’t care they just want to get rid of it.

That’s a good deal. Same price I got mine from at Costco on clearance a few years ago. Only difference is Costco bundle came with a cover
Nice, whatcha cooking first?
How did you fit it in your car? I had to return it cuz we couldn’t manage to fit the whole crate in the car even though we have a 7 seat SUV
