I find there is something completely relaxing about getting away, enjoying breathtaking beauty, all with your favorite beverage in hand. Tucked away in the Ramona Valley, approximately 40 minutes from San Diego, is the perfect escape. It’s a getaway destination where you can wake up to gorgeous vineyard views, sip flavorful wine, and enjoy a slower pace. It’s Travino, a luxury glamping concept where you can stay in modern, glamping-style Airbnbs that are nestled in a vineyard. It’s not your traditional vacation rental experience.
When searching for incredible Airbnbs in California, I search for a “wow” factor—something that makes it stand out from a traditional rental home. This Airbnb in Ramona Valley is exactly what I look for. Follow the road to Principe Di Tricase Winery, where you’ll find a tiny-home cabin that’s exactly what you need for some quiet time away, and in one of the most gorgeous settings.

The rental boasts a modern design and enough space for up to two guests. While not large, the open concept makes you feel as though you can spread out. As you step inside, you’ll find a cozy couch and a bistro dining table. There’s even an electric fireplace where you can snuggle up with your favorite blanket and book.
The plush queen-size bed is one of my favorite spaces in this Airbnb, as it’s surrounded by large picture windows, allowing you to wake up and fall asleep to the vineyard views right outside. Even the bathroom in this tiny home feels luxurious with a large, tiled shower and plenty of space to get ready in each day.

The kitchen inside this Airbnb isn’t massive and has just the essentials: a small refrigerator (there is no freezer), a microwave, a portable cooktop, a toaster, dinnerware, flatware, etc. However, the size of the kitchen likely won’t be a problem because I recommend you plan several meals at a local restaurant or make the drive into San Diego for even more food options and ocean views.
But for a good glass of wine, you won’t have to travel far. You can walk right to the vineyard’s on-site tasting room for a glass that will make your taste buds dance. Try something different each time and see if you can find a new favorite. Then, sit back on the chairs outside of this Airbnb to admire the vineyard where the grapes are grown.
This area is also a fantastic place for outdoor adventures if you wish to get out and explore a little. Visit some of the other wineries and vineyards in the area, play a round or two of golf, and go on a hike (I recommend the Iron Mountain Peak Trail). Potato Chip Rock is also five miles away, and Lake Poway is 13 miles from this rental.
Relaxation can come in many forms, and you’ll certainly find it at this Airbnb tucked within a vineyard in SoCal. The natural beauty, cozy amenities, on-site wine tasting, and proximity to numerous activities allow you to fill your time with things that bring you joy—a pace that will ensure you head home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
