




Please be kind! I know some of these aren’t quite traditional, but the modifications are to our taste.
Takoyaki – forgot the Takoyaki sauce but they’re filled with pickled ginger, tenkasu, spring onions and octopus so still tasty. Definitely fiddly to make but I’m sure more practice will help.
Okinomiyaki with prawns
Chicken kaarage – air fried but the thighs were marinated first so they stayed juicy. With green goddess salad and garlic bread.
Chicken katsu curry
Strawberry icecream bar – honestly, this was because I had leftover cream, but I loved the fruit ices during my recent trip to Japan so this is inspired by them.
