I was always taught that the “dry mix” is just the noodles and the powder it comes with, and the “prepared” is with the milk and butter they tell you to use in the preparation instructions.

These boxes have a huge difference between dry and prepared, but the instructions are the same.

Have I been lied to my whole life? 😅😭

The box on the left has 2.5 servings. The box on the right is only 2 servings. I think that’s the only difference

Yeah this looks a little strange if the one on the left calls for butter to be added as well. I think the best way to go about it would just be ignoring the number on the right and measuring out the dry mix + milk + butter for a more accurate amount of calories.

  3. The box on the left is a total of 700 calories, the right 680 calories. The left box probably swells more when cooked, it also has 0.75 oz more dry ingredients. That’s why it has more servings. That extra dry ingredients is only 20 calories.
