    I prefer gizzards but I cast no shade!

    Someday I want to try to do this with pheasant hearts.

    Sautéed with some garam masala and flambéed with some brandy has always been my go to for tasty bbq’ed treats. I usually just toss in a saute pan on my charcoal grill. Makes the flambé extra dangerous.

    Put them on a stick, grill them over charcoal as Yakitori and enjoy. Big hit with these in Japanese bars and Yakitori restaurants.

    I buy these for my dogs, but I haven’t had the heart to try them yet. Tried beef heart, didn’t like it. Don’t like liver, but I like pate. I’m sure I’ll work up the nerve one day lol.

  6. I love chicken hearts. I usually make a hearthy stew. Fry them up with some onions, garlic, cremini mushrooms, dust over some flour for sauce thickness and add cream and dijon mustard. Add some herbs if you want to, like parsley is nice.

    I often have some grapes in it as well (though make sure you cut them in half, because you don’t want to make the mistake of putting a whole grape that’s still boiling in your mouth, trust me on that one).

    Can also add some white wine, or whisky, to the sauce if you want to.

    Goes great with mash.

    Toss in seasoned flour and deep fry this buggers in beef tallow.

    Where can I find these all the supermarkets around me only have gizzards and sometimes livers.

    I dump them in a pot with green onion and ginger and cold water, then bring to a boil for 1 minute, then strain, season wirh white pepper serve with cilantro and soy paste!

    Season then egg dip then panko and deep fry. Served with honey mustard and bbq sauce. Not as healthy as yours but served at a party calling them chicken nuggets and watch them disappear

    Best part of the chicken. For a like with like texture dish sauté with sliced squid and sweet chili sauce.
