    Beautiful! Looked kind of familiar and I think you made my rolling pin a few years ago. I’ve made lots of chocolate babkas with it.

    Since it’s separate pieces of wood – how are they joined together? Is it just glued together or is there some solid core of wood in the middle?

    Sometimes you have to press down really hard with a rolling pin, if they’re just glued together I could see it failing over time.
