Hey, I’m new to this hobby, but I’m amazed at how much fun I’m having! I immediately started a second dough.

I never thought it would taste so much better than store-bought bread.

Here’s the recipe I used (don’t be surprised, I experimented a bit with the flour types):

-300 g of wheat flour type 550

-75 g of wheat flour type 405

-125 g of double-ground instant flour.

-350 g of water and 10 g of salt

-2.5 g (¾ teaspoon) of dry yeast.

-3 g (½ teaspoon) of liquid honey for a slightly richer flavor.

The second dough is made entirely with T65 flour. I’m curious to see if I’ll notice a difference

Dude those look amazing for a first attempt! The crumb structure is on point

That flour mix sounds interesting – never tried double-ground instant flour before. How’d you get your hands on that? And yeah T65 should give you a slightly nuttier flavor compared to your blend, definitely post an update when you bake the second batch

Those look incredible for a first attempt! The crumb structure is spot on

That flour blend sounds interesting – never tried mixing different types like that but clearly it worked. The T65 comparison batch is gonna be a fun experiment, I’m betting you’ll notice the texture difference right away

Once you start making your own bread there’s really no going back to store bought lol

These looks significantly better than my first batch of baguettes. Well done!
