You guys loved my first pizza, so we had to do it again! Recipe down below!π π₯
Ingredients
– 1 tbsp Dan-Oβs Outlaw Butter Dust
– 1 tbsp Dan-Oβs Ranch Cheesoning
– 1 tbsp Dan-Oβs Cajun Seasoning
– β
cup olive oil
– 1 lb pizza dough
– 2 chicken breasts
– Β½ red bell pepper, diced
– Β½ green bell pepper, diced
– Β½ red onion, diced
– 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
– 1 jar Carboneβs Alfredo sauce
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pan
Pour 1 cup of olive oil into a 14-inch cast-iron pan.
Sprinkle a light dusting of Dan-Oβs Outlaw Butter Dust to coat the entire bottom evenly.
Add a generous layer of Dan-Oβs Ranch Cheesoning and a touch of Dan-Oβs Cajun Seasoning over the oil.
2. Prepare the Dough
Lightly flour your work surface or pizza paddle.
Place the 1 lb of dough in the flour, flip it, and stretch gently until it reaches about 14 inches wide.
Carefully lay the stretched dough into the prepared pan and press out toward the edges.
3. Build the Pizza Base
Spread a generous layer of Carboneβs Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough.
4. Prepare the Toppings
Cook the chicken breasts until they reach about 145Β°F (slightly undercooked).
Slice the chicken into thin strips (it will finish cooking on the pizz)..
Dice your red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion into small pieces
5. Assemble the Pizza
Sprinkle Dan-Oβs Ranch Cheesoning lightly over the sauce.
Add diced peppers and onions, spreading evenly.
Layer the sliced chicken generously across the top.
Add 8 oz of fresh mozzarella cheese.
Finish with a sprinkle of Dan-Oβs Red Pepper Cheesoning for extra flavor and a crispy crust.
6. Cook the Pizza
Place the cold cast-iron pan over high heat for about 3 minutes to preheat the bottom and start forming a crispy crust.
Transfer the pan to a 400Β°F oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
7. Serve
Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing.
Yum Yum, Get Ya Sum!
You love my first pizza so much, we made another one. The Cajun chicken Alfredo pizza. Look at that crust. Let’s make it. So, our very first step is we’re going to season this up some chicken breast and throw them in our oven to cook. I’m going to use our Cajun today cuz I want them a little spicy. Pat it in. Pat it in. Turn them over and do it again. Now, we just hit them with a little olive oil. Throw them in our pan like that. Get the other side. Don’t waste the seasoning. A little more oil. Pat it in. Now, let’s throw it in our oven. So, we’re going in with half of a cup of olive oil. Yep, that seems about right. Lay out a little pile of flour. About that much. Now, grab your dough out. This is one lb. We’re just going to lay it in the flour like so. Get enough flour on there where we can pick this thing up and start stretching it. Before we get to putting this in our pan, let me show you what I did in the pan. All right, hang on. Grab the Danos butter dust and we’re going to do a light dusting. But make sure you cover the entire bottom of the pan. Ranch cheese, my friends. That’s right. Ranch and cheese. We’re going to sprinkle generously. And because we’re making this Cajun style, we’re going to sprinkle a little Cajun. All right. All that flavor is going to cook right into our dough. Let’s get it in there. I’m learning. Second time. Stretching the edges. Now we’re going in and just maneuver it around. First thing, carbones Alfredo right in the center there on our vegetables. We’re using green pepper, red pepper, and red onion. Notice I didn’t cut them in long little slivers. I diced it up so you get a little bit in every bite. All right, look at that chicken. So, notice that our chicken is super juicy still. I pulled it out at about 145, so it’ll continue to cook when we put it back on this pizza and put it back in the oven. First up, our red onions. I almost forgot. Ranch cheese. Yes, please. Our red peppers. Green bell pepper. Now we’re loading it up with our chicken. So I’d say that’s extra meat cuz we used two whole chicken breast on there. Now we’re going to use 8 oz of some fresh mozzarella cheese on top. Instead of doing ranch cheese, we’re going to go in with the red pepper seasoning. It’s going to give it an awesome crust. You’ll see. Now take your cast iron. Remember that was not preheated. That was a cold cast iron. Put it over a hot flame, high temperature. And it’s probably going to take about three minutes to get going. We’ll time it. All right, we’re two minutes in and you can see the bottom of our pan is hot. Look at the bubbles. Now we’re going into our 400Β°ree oven. Look at that, my friends. It’s been 20 minutes. Listen to this crunch. Look at that. Let’s get a bite. Oh, it’s hot. But definitely one of the best things you’ll ever eat. That’s fantastic, my friends. Yum, yum. Get you some. Wow.
