Skip the peppers and mushrooms. It ain’t a hoagie. Some pickled peppers aren’t a bad idea to cut the fat but I’ve never been a fan of banana peppers on a cheesesteak to be honest.
Also give cheese wiz a chance. American is good, but not salty like wiz. Wiz is the seasoning for a cheeseteak. Also no one calls it a philly.
