What is Beaujolais Nouveau?

Beaujolais Nouveau is the very first wine of the harvest, made from Gamay grapes in France’s Beaujolais region. Released just weeks after picking, it’s light, fruity and full of freshness – a joyful celebration of the new vintage. Each year, on the third Thursday of November, wine lovers across the world raise a glass to mark its arrival. At Le Blaireau, we’re embracing this French tradition with a special dinner, live music and, of course, plenty of Beaujolais to go around. Santé!
