Pedestrian hit, killed near food store Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A pedestrian was hit and killed in Jackson on Saturday.

It happened around 7:38 p.m. at 3155 Terry Road, which is the location of Inland Food Store.

According to the Jackson Police Department, a 2010 gray Chrysler Sebring traveling southbound in the left lane collided with a pedestrian, identified as 48-year-old Isaac James Curtis, who was walking in the street when the incident occurred.

Curtis was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one was charged.
