I just take care not to touch the inside and scrub my hands with vinegar and dish soap until my tongue doesn’t burn when I lick my finger. It can lead to burning hands, but it doesn’t spread anymore.

I even wear a facemask when making reaper powder and safety goggles when making hot sauce. First time i made hot sauce, one drop went right in my eye. Nowhere else, but in my eyeball ffs. Never ever have i felt such a pain in my life

Also worth pointing out they while vinyl gloves do help, make sure they’re Nitrile gloves or you won’t be totally safe.
