The average price of exported olive oil has dropped by 50,1% in August 2025 compared to the previous year, with values ranging between 7,57 dinars (approximately 2,29 euros) and 17,22 dinars per kg (approximately 5,22 euros).

Type of oil: Most of the oil exported is bulk, which represents the85,3% of the total. Packaged olive oil, on the other hand, rose to 14,7% of total exports, a slight increase compared to the previous year. Extra virgin olive oil represented the highest share, equal to 78,5% of the total volume.

Even in this segment, packaged oil represents only a small part of the total, namely 6,1%The main importers of Tunisian organic olive oil are always the same: Italy in first place, with a share of 51,6%, followed by Spain with 19,7% and the United States with 17,4%.
