I had some edits and would make again with a few more edits:

  • used more corn. I had a bigger container I swapped out for the little one they sent.
  • used a little less water, and would use even less when I make it again.
  • I would brown the chicken in my pot first, then take it out to cook the veggies. Adding the chicken to the veggies which were cooking, I just couldn’t get a good brown on the chicken- there was too much moisture in the pan, too crowded.
  • I added another packet of chicken stock to up the flavor.

The taste was wonderful though, and I will make again!

I was curious about this. What did you think of the crème fraiche? That sounded like an odd thing to add

I cooked the carrots, potatoes, and onions (all diced fine, quartered the potatoes) until soft. Transfered them to a different container then browned the chicken and tossed in some white wine with the veggies again. Once the wine cooked off just did it like normal but I did add more chicken base (better then Bullion) and a generous splash of heavy cream. Did wish there was more corn, was surprised by that small container.

  3. Thank you for the edits. I’ve got this coming this week.
