I will say from my informal survey of this sub it’s Sourdough bread, Kerry gold butter, cheese is flip a coin, and the sub all loves tomato soup when I hate it.

    Some weirdos do ketchup.

Unlike Slowik, I will say that soft cheeses are the easier option and that going for a sharp cheddar is risky. People who call American cheese “plastic cheese” are invited to shove a pinecone somewhere painful.

    The diagonal cut is non-negotiable.

Tillamook put their thumb on the scale, guaranteed.

Personally, I don’t like a GC off a ribbed griddle, the lines fuck the sandwich up. Flat griddle.

  2. Cheddar and mozzarella are the two absolute worst cheeses for this. Too stringy and they dont melt right.

The answer is butter and American cheese, bread is your choice.

  4. > people’s favorite sauces to dip into turned out to be ranch (19%), ketchup (14%) and honey mustard (13%).

No salsa? Then again what would you expect from a Murdoch Tabloid?
